Hello! My name’s Conor Deery and I’m a professional Artist and Musician from Adelaide, South Australia. I’ve been playing in bands since I was young and I’ve been developing my skills intensively over the last 10 years. I graduated with a Bachelor Of Music (Popular Music & Creative Technologies) from the University of Adelaide’s Elder Conservatorium in 2018.

Since then, I’ve gone on to tour Australia with various bands and work in the United States, producing my own records. Most notably I have performed with Dean Forever, Sons Of Zoku and have been the sole writer, producer and leader of my project ‘Big Romance’.

Big Romance emerged following the breakup of my old band and began the new era of my artistic life. The first Big Romance record ‘infinite mixtape’ saw me travel to the United States of America to work with mix engineer Tom Kelly (Alex G, Snoozer) in Philadelphia, PA.

Since that trip overseas, the COVID pandemic has really put things into perspective for me and I began to take everything I learned from my American friends and put it all back into my ongoing projects.

Using these skills, I’ve worked on various independent film scores here in Adelaide and put my best efforts into keeping the creative world moving in turbulent times.
